Thanks Irma.... recently i have been able to recruit long awaited Canon EF 100mm f/2.8 marco in my fleet.. but i still wonder that my copy is a good one or not.. here is the test images.. any comments are welcome...

I love the light in the second one.
Any comment about the light conditions?

thanks for yr comment.. the second one was taken handheld in daylight from 5-6 ft away.. enough light for 250/1 f/4.5.. my model did not stay long.. just disappeared after my shutter.. cropped a lot for better compo.. sharpness was not that great.. i really wished to have a long glass.. btw you really own a nice site.. love the images and layout.. just cool.. simple and effective..

hi Irma.. well i am thinking of 5D mark II now.. just kidding.. no no i cant effort it for sure.. torn between 450D and 40D.. but i can still wait..no hurry.. let the prices come down ..

Welcome Simon! Interesting that you are torn between the 450D and 40D. What are your thoughts / decision points between the two? Perhaps we can offer some advice!
