I think this was taken at a very nice time of day, but it's crooked. Straightening it will result in a crop that will hurt the composition of the foreground elements, and weaken the photo overall. It might be worth some work with Photoshop's distort/transform tools, and then fudging the horizon line on the water.

I agree with Matthew's comment about the horizon. I like your composition a lot, I see the houses in the bottom very much to the edge. As you said it was a crop, I would suggest just to give a try and leave a bit of room, not to crop too tight there and see how you like it.

Hmm Irma - the cropped part is not very attractive - that is why it got a knife - but i will try. Pavel
