i really like the play of light and shadow on this eagle... i have a framed 8x10 vertical format print of this shot that my son says looks like it belongs on the wall of some federal office or something... 40D, 400mm, 1/640 @ f/5.6...

Wow all it needs is a US flag behind it. Lovely shot I love the way the eye stands out from the shadows.

Really nice; spot on with aperture to get lovely texture contrast as well as light contrast. Your treatment really brings out the "character" of the subject....lovely!
