i saw this bald eagle sitting in a tree on my way home from work. didn't have my camera with me (for obvious reasons, i seldom leave $2500 worth of camera and lens sitting in my car...), so i hurried home and grabbed it, hoping he'd still be there when i returned. it's only 3 miles, so it didn't take me long, and when i got back, he was still there. he let me snap pictures for about 5 minutes before he left... 30D, Sigma EX 80-400 @ 400mm, 1/1000 @ f/14...
