Good afternoon, I've been taking photographs for as long as I can remember, but have just recently decided to learn how to use my current camera properly, after having it for about 3 years. It's a Fuji FinePix S3500, and has a lot more potential than I realised when I found the instruction book whilst cleaning out an unused room.

I've signed up for an online photography course (free) and am trying to find a local camera club. Really need to try the white pages instead of the internet I think!

I have 3 kids (commonly known as The Juniors) who are favourite subjects, but won't be appearing here. Wink I also have 2 dogs and 2 cats who might appear here.

I would dearly love a decent DSLR but can't afford it, so will just use what I have, and borrow my mothers when she comes to visit.

cheers! Big Grin

ps - my icon is a crop of a photo I took last year during the lunar eclipse.
And a ripping welcome to you!Big Grin
Welcome to Shuttertalk... it was a Fujifilm Finepix 3800 that set me off on the DSLR trail, wish I had kept that camera.
Good to see you here - look forward to seeing some pictures.
