Today I saw 8 huge icebergs (from one location) and here's a shot of the closest one, but still quite a ways out from shore. It seems a bit earlier than other years for seeing bergs, but I'm not complaining. I think these ones will be around for awhile, with so much pack ice around them! This was all open water a week ago. The wind shifted and we were socked in again!

Not easy photograph, at least for me! In the white touches, every details are seen! Wow!

We don't see many of those in Vancouver...
