I don't shoot models very well, but here is my $.02 for what it is worth.
#1: The pose feels a bit uncomfortable to me - I think it would be better with her head more inline with her spine and not so much to one side. This is the one that would have benefited the most from some less even lighting
#2: This is my favorite. Nice treatment and the flower is well positioned in relation to your wife. Great natural expression and lots of warmth in her eyes. My only criticism is that the flower has much higher contrast than the rest of the photo - and so it makes it look like the flower is the subject of the photo rather than the woman.
#3: Also nice - I like the color. I like the position of the flower in #2 better however - this relationship of the flower to your wife is not so clear in this one. Maybe a little more of the bed cover should be cropped off as well to make the "horizon" line not so much in the center of the photo - this would bring more attention to your wife's face by minimizing the effect of the big white space below.
Great work - I would like to see more.
Thanks Toad for taking your time and giving me you input on these. This is my first time shooting a model with anykind of a controlled enviroment so i really enjoy any and all advice i can get. tank you very much and these were all great points and i will be making the changes to them soon tahnks again.

1 Seems flat...Lighting not your wife.

2 Much better and the border helps.
3 Ladies face looks very red and she looks much prettier in 2.
This isn't telling you how to remedy it though.
Anyone know where the hash (noughts & crosses) is on a mac keyboard? :/
